It's Finally Giveaway Time!

In honor of Little H's first birthday, I'm giving away some awesome stuff. These products were donated by incredible business women. Just look at it all - it's all FANTASTIC! The retail value is $166 USD. Here's a bit more about what's up for grabs.

Item #1 is a sweet little purse from Original Cyn Studios. It has a lovely vintage air about it even though it was newly handmade. Retail value is $15.
Item #2 is a lovely set of leaf inspired brass toned earrings from Ciara Obscura. I love the little crystals hanging from them - so elegant! Retail value is $45.
Item #3 is an indulgent, Arbonne aromatherapy bath product from Kim at MK Skincare. Retail value $18

Item #4 is a tutu so sweet you could munch up it's candy colored red and white stripes. Stacy at Sara Rose tutus donated this and it normally retails for $20.
Item #5 is a handmade Jingle Block which almost didn't make it into the giveaway because I'm in love with it. I was so tempted to give it to little H and send Lia of My Kangaroo a cheque for it's retail value of $20.

Item #6 is a precious pair of handmade baby booties from ValMade - retail is only $10, what a great price for these tootsie covers!
Item #7 is actually three pieces - hairbows from Jamie of Bows2Cute.com, perfect for any little girls's coif - valued at $10.
Item #8 is a coffee set from Hippy Dippy designs - hand made coasters and a coffee cozy to keep that bevy from burning your fingers and tables - value is $10.

Item #9 is something only a mom could have dreamed up. A security blankie in cape form. How sweet to have your little one drape this over their shoulders as they fly around the house. The blankie cape is from Frank & Me and retails for $18.

Ha, I'll be thinking about quitecontrary wearing her panties on her head for a while. :P My tip is that glitter should never come in a house, ever, because it is impossible for it all to ever leave. Like tiny little poltergeists, glitter has magic power.

Thanks for entering me in this awesome giveaway.

I love this collection of prizes, what a great giveaway! I subscribed to your feed, added your button to my site, stumbled this post (I was the first to discover it, my stumble username is table4five). A creative tip, hmmm-I'm not at all crafty, my creativity comes in the kitchen. My tip is, when you unwrap a stick of butter, carefully fold up the wrapper and store it in the fridge. Then use it to grease a pan when baking. That's four entries!

Thanks for the chance. I have 5 daughters and I am sure they all would love something from this!

Cool giveaway! My creative tip comes from scrapbooking retreats where we stay up late scrapping. But it applies to other crafts. When you go to bed, leave a page (or project) started, or almost completed. That way when you are sleepy in the morning it's easy to get started and pick up momentum. Otherwise you sit there and stare at the table til you wake up. ;)

Hi!

I have subscribed; I have buttoned you in my little sidebar and now for entry number three, I shall give you a creative tip.

I save empty vitamin or pill bottles and then when my paint cans are down to the end, using a funnel, I pour into my pill bottles. These are then stored very prettily and used for woodwork crafts!

A creative tip... Reuse formula cans for loose change holders.

My creative tip is to keep kids occupied during dinner prep/cook - my hardest time of the day.

We took a big Ziploc bag of fridge magnets and throw them on his high chair and he'll play with the for hours. In and out of the bag, over and over!

I subscribed to your feed and here is my tip...
If you decide you need to return an item of clothing to the store, but you just snipped the tag off, you can reattach the tag by touching the tip of a hot glue gun to the plastic where you snipped and pressing the two pieces back together.
Thanks,

Just subscribed to your emails! Great site! For a creative tip - well, a great (and easy) gift to give is to do a simple cross stitch picture of the person or family you're giving the gift to. I just find "people" designs and change hair color etc so they look like the real person.

What a fantastic prize package! I'd be so thrilled to win it. My tip is simple: because chemical cleaners are not safe to use around our beloved pets I always stick with safe natural products like vinegar, lemon juice and baking soda. As a bonus, they leave behind a clean fresh odour rather than fumes.

Debbie said...

What a great prize to win! Even when you no longer have little babies always keep a container of diaper wipes in the car for those sticky messes or just oh so yummy take out delights. They are so much cheaper than handi-wipes for adults and clean just the same.

As a graphic designer, I can say that nature provides plenty of inspiration for creativity. I remember taking leaves that fell off of trees in the fall, and using a crayon to rub the image into a piece of paper. It looked cool and is a fun craft for kids who like nature. Flowers are always an inspiration this time of the year.

to get a stain out really easily, spray it with hair spray let it sit for a while, then wash with cold water and soap, it works really well!

If it is acrylic paint, keep rubbing with tide and water on carpet. It does go away.

I subscribed and added you to Delicious. A creative tip -- I save all kinds of fabric. Even from worn out shirts and sheets. You can cut up just about anything to use for a quilt or when you need a little scrap for something here and there.

cman said...

Bring snacks and drinks on long car rides to avoid constant stops.

Figgy said...

My tip is more green than creative. Think about every item before you put it in the trash. Could there possibly be another use for it? Is it recyclable? Could someone else use it? You'll be surprised what you can find another use for if you just give it one additional thought before throwing it out.

Unknown said...

So glad I found your site. Okay, I subbed, added your button and am now going to add a creative tip- get down on your kids level and play with them. See the world through their eyes and quit worrying about the messes- There will be plenty of time to have a clean house, but the little munchkins grow up faster than you think. Start them with ice and a bowl and a spoon and work your way up to crayons and markers and glue and glitter and feathers and beads. They are amazing at creating things out of the most ordinary objects and it is way more fun to be right with them instead of supervising.
Be sure to enter my contest when you are checking my site for your button. ;)

My creative tip would be to camoflauge your veggies in another food where your little sweeties won't even know there eating anything they consider, "yucky!" For example, I break up my zuchinni super small and slowly cook it into spaghetti and my son eats it up and has no clue that he is eating vegetables..lol. I love it!
